Im interested in gum contouring but im worried about removal of the gum line weakening teeth

Q. I am seriously considering having Gum Contouring but I am worried about the removal of the gum line weakening my teeth and make them more vulnerable. Is this so? Are there any other dangers or side-effects with Gum contouring?

A.

It depends on the individual case, how much gum to remove and how much tooth root is avaialable etc.
In general it is a safe procedure.
