I would like to know if they would be a better alternative to the dentures we normally use

Q. I have heard of ‘flexible’ dentures and would like to know if they would be a better alternative to the dentures we normally use. Incidentally, I have front top partials. Thank you.

A. Hi many thanks for your email, i have used the flexible denture (valplast)system and i have to say are a very good alternative to conventional partial dentures. the comments my patients have made are that they are thicker than convention dentures but do seem to grip the tissue more so stay in better.
