I would like to know if it is possible to get veneers on the nhs if so how can it be arranged

Q. I am diabetic and have problems with my teeth/gums, I also have my sons wedding approaching in May and would like my teeth fixed for that special day. I have lost a lot of confidence due to the condition of my teeth. Due to the cost of cosmetic dentistry I would like to know if it is possible to get veneers fitted on the NHS. If so how can it be arranged.

A. Veneers are for cosmaetic reasons – and not available for that reason on the NHS. For improving your smile, then you should expect to have to pay privately for the treatment. Without seeing the current state of your existing teeth and smile, it is hard for me to say what can be improved- I would suggest a consultation with a good cosmetic dentist for his opinions. Hope it all gets done before your sons wedding. Thanks for your enquiry
