i will have to lose one of my top row teeth i have looked at dental implants

Q. Hello some time in the near future i will have to lose one of my top row teeth(4th one along from the front, only a small one)as it cannot be saved according to my dentist,I have looked at dental implants but they are very expensive so i will most likely end up having a fixed bridge in order to replace it as i don`t want anything to do with dentures being only 25 years old(i will save that joy for old age).I was wondering how durable this treatment and would you recommend it. Thank you for your time.

A. Durability depends on the way your teeth bite, the health of the supporting teeth, and the future care.
things to consider

Over a lifetime the replacement costs are less with an implant because it lasts longer.

An adhesive bridge for a few years while yu save for the implant might be a comprimise ( avoid irreversible tooth reduction for a crown retained bridge.)

socket grafting at the extraction visit to reduce the reshaping on the ridge after the root is removed.
