I want to replace my small teeth with crowns and veneers

Q. I have very small teeth and a couple missing from the top and bottom that never grew. I had veneers put on my front 5 top teeth when I was 15 (11 years ago now). One of them has chipped and my gums have receeded anyway since then and so I will need them replaced soon. Also I want to have my bottom teeth done if possible at the same time. They are very small and so would I have veneers or crowns put on them? Also, if I was to get my top and bottom teeth done, do dentists usually tend to charge a fixed price per tooth or would there be any scope for negotiating a discount for the number of teeth? Many thanks

A.

Without seeing your teeth it is very difficult to comment, but all good cosmetic dentists will do the least invasive treatment as possible. Your teeth will only be restored with crowns when fully necessary.

It is possible to have upper and lower done at the same time although a lot of my patients like to split the appointment up into two as it would be a long procedure to do at once.

I do not know about other dentist’ payment options, but at my Clinic the Veneers are charged per tooth as my Ceramist who creates the Veneers charges me per Veneer.
