I want to get all my teeth removed and replaced with dental implants in Goa

Q. I am thinking about having all my teeth removed and replaced with implants i have a lot of problems with my teeth missing/sensetive/most teeth are either filled or crowned i would like your oppinion on this also considering going to somewhere like Goa India to have this treatment due to the costs i would appreciate your comments thank you

A. Implants replace missing tooth support. If you have tooth support that can be used I would tend to use it. You need a clinical examination to have a reasonable chance at answering this. Some practices such as ours offer a free assessment with a dentist to determine if its worth investigating further.

RE Goa, I would like to visit on holiday but wouldn’t recommend having a prolonged complex treatment like implants so far away. It’s a problem to get it fixed or fine tuned if you have to take a week of work & fly around India. Most of our cases take five or more visits. Also it is important that you use a reputable implant system that has lots of users that will continue to exist in years to come when you need maintenance. The cost of Astratech components ( the system that I trust to use on my patients ) is about the same worldwide, it’s the same for ITI, Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and all the main players and I see some prices quoted that you cant buy the components for. For these reasons I would just go for a holiday or save the money from the holiday & put it towards your treatment here, you may be surprised by the reasonable fees in the UK.
