I really want a silver tooth cap. Would it be free on NHS

Q. I really want a silver tooth cap. Would it be free because im 16 or will it cost? and also do dentists do them? and can you just have them for fun and fashion? If you could, can you reply to my email please. thank you 🙂

A. You will only get a silver crown on the NHS if you needed one, not for cosmetic reasons. If you wanted to pay privately then you could have one but this would cost between £400 and £700.
Having said that, I would never have my tooth drilled down for cosmetic purposes only. My advice is wait until you’re a bit older and see if you still want it
Kind Regards
