I need treatment for tooth gaps but NHS won’t pay for it. I can’t afford private treatment. What are my options?

Q. Hi, I’m 15 and I’m really self-conscious about my teeth and I hate smiling/laughing in front of people and always cover my mouth. I’ve got gaps between most of the teeth at the front, I went to seek advice from my local orthodontist but they said the gap wasn’t big enough for the NHS to pay for them so I have to go to a private orthodontist. But I really don’t want/can’t afford to pay thousands of pounds for them, what would you reccommend I do?,
A. It depends on how big the gaps are, You may be able to close the gaps with fillings, without taking a look it is difficuilt to say. Ask your dentist.
