I need to fix my teeth but felt humilated by a dentist, what can I do?

i had a really bad bike accident a few years ago and lost my front teeth i went to see a dentist about my other teeth which are really bad and he made me feel like something he stepped in now i really need help but do not want to be humilated again what can i do
