I need a full set of dentures and teeth extracting what would this cost?

Q. I need a full set of teeth pref dentures but i am only 33 and dont want them coming out or loose. i also need the decayed remaining teeth extracted i have a fear of dentists and panic due to an experience when i was younger.what would be the best solution? and what would it cost approx? thank you.

A. Dear G

The full answer depends on why you have to loose so many teeth at a relatively young age. A patient that has extensive tooth decay but good gum / bone support might be suitable for dental implant supported dentures, very stable & predictable.
2 or more implants per jaw and dentures £6-10,000 guide price completed. ( You need to include an first set of teeth then the final posh set )

Intravenous sedation would cope with your anxiety on the visits such as extractions & implant placement.

I hope this helps

I am 37 and have suffered from gum disease for the last 4 years since I got diagnosed with diabetes. I have been told by my NHS dentist that it’s inevitable that I will need a full upper set of dentures and I am now just waiting for the time when I really need to get them done which is looking like very soon.

What is the best process for to carry out and what would be the best options for me, should I seek consultation else were besides my dentist?

I am considering dental implants for the whole of my lower jaw. I currentlyhave only a few teeth remaining and wear a partial denture.I have had a consultation re: treatment abroad and will need some bone implantation too. Can I arrange a consultation with your clinic as, naturally, I would prefertreatment in the UK.

One implant can be between £800 – £3000. Full set can set you back around £50 000. I would advise you to go and see a Cosmetic Dentist for a consultation and take it from there

A while back I had an xray of my teeth and it revealed that on one of my bottom front teeth the root had desolved and there wasnt much left, It now has started to crack and is wobberbly and is about to fall out, I was told by my dentist that my only option on the NHS is a denture, is this my only option is there nothing that can be more permanant? I have heard things about metal post being put in and then capped on them is this an option?

If I have front top 6 or 8 teeth fitted with implants. Or implant held bridge or mixture of both, will I be able to have denture to replace the remaining back teeth when they need to come out. I can afford the work on the front teeth now ,but retired so will not be able to afford any more implants in the future. Can you see a problem with this plan I would be grateful for your advice before I make an appointment. Thank you .
