I’m suffering extreme pain from the root removal treatment, please help!

Q. i had a crown fitted a week ago-the root was removed from the original tooth but i had to have anti inflammatory drugs for a week as i was in so much pain -the crown was fitted after the pain had subsided but now i have really bad pain in the 2 teeth next to the crown and in one on the lower jaw-every time i eat or dri nk anything the pasin is intense and lasts for about 10 minutes-i am taking the max daily amount of pain killers but the pain has not suibsided after a week-if anything it is worse-the dentist says i have receding gums and i am using a sensitive toothpaste but it is a nightmare of pain once i have used the paste-will the pain go as i dont know how much longer i can stand it,
A. A second opinion from another dentist may help to put your mind at rest. Constant intense pain does not usually mean sensitive gums. Rob
