Q. ever since having a dental implant fitted around a year ago, have had a dull ache on the gums around the implant, the dentist who fitted implant says its coming from the tooth next to the implant, so have had root canal work on the suggested tooth next to implant and am still feeling no better, can an implant give you pain after being fitted, and if so what can be done about it, I have never really liked the dentist that did the implant work, as he is very difficult to speak to, and just has no personality or patience where his work is concerned, he says its fine….but I still feel pain all the time…,
