Hi im having problems with my teeth 4 have fell out ive got 3 loose teeth im going be left with none down 1 side i have had 1 took out as it was a crown and it came out when i was pregnant im so embarrassed ive lost all of my confidence i dont like smiling i dont like going out for meals i cant get a dentist we are on a low income so its hard for me to go private what can i do to strentghen my gums and what do i do about my lose and teeth

A. It sounds like you have gum disease. Unfortunately the only treatment for gum disease is to have sessions with a hygienist or dentist. Treatment of the disease involves cleaning underneath the gums which you are unable to do yourself. I understand that it is very difficult to find a NHS dentist and private dentists are expensive. If there is a dental school within commuting distance of you this would be the best place to go. Your treatment would be carried out by dental students under the supervision of consultants. The treatment is extremely thorough and is carried to private standards, better in some cases.
The treatment is completely free.

In the mean time you could supplement your diet with 1000mg of vitamin c and brush 2 to 3 times a day. If you don’t receive treatment unfortunately the three loose teeth that you have will eventually fall out so it is crucial to get treatment.
I’m sorry I couldn’t give you better news
Kind Regards
