Q. I have recently been fitted with a one tooth denture ( eye tooth )on a metal palate which clips onto my top side teeth. I do have a recurring gum problem and the reason I have a palate fitted is because my previous crown root disintegrated when the crown itself broke and the root had to be removed from my gum. I have only had this solution for four days and cannot get used to it. I cannot taste my food and it causes me to retch. Is there another solution?
