i have periodontosis after i treat the illness will i be suitable for invisalign treatment

Q. Hello! When I went to the dentist last time (April 2009) I had been told that I have periodontosis. Due to the disease some of my teeth driftied a lot. I was wondering that after I treat the illness I might be suitable for a Invisalign treatment. I have just 28 years old; I don’t smoke but both my parents have the illness…so lucky me!! I allways had bad teeth…I’ve lost my baby teeth prematurely and suck my fingers as a child. Is there a hope for my? The whole problem started to affect my confidence, my life… Thank you and look forward to receive your answer. Best wishes

A. Hi, if the periodontal disease is correctly treated then you should be able to undergo some form of gum treatment. Invisalign is a great treatment but not suitable for everyone. let me know if I can be of any help
Best wishes  Andrew
