I have pain in the tooth would the pain be caused by invasion? is any chance i can have implants?

Q. Dear Dr Moore I have a crown(fixed bridge) on 22,23,24,25,26,27. The dentist told me this was the best solution since I have partial dentures attached at 22 and 27. Is this true? 22 is hurting, it had root canal done, the dentist who did it says everything is ok with the root canal and I have invasion of the biological width and I need gum grafting. Could the pain which started after the crown was fixed be caused by this invasion? If I am 56 and have osteoporosis is any chance I can have implants ? Thank you very much.

A. The most important thing about the bone for implants ar the local factors such as infection or bone loss priort to the removal of the teeth. it would be a good idea to get a scan of the jaws to measure your bone in detail. You coud then consider implants especially if tooth 22 has a very poor prognosis
