Q. I have just had 4 crowns on my four front top teeth. This was because I had previosuly had root treatment on two of them and the teeth were getting worn away in between where you would normally floss. I had teeth whitening and opted for crowns. I only had these done last week but now have three small triangles inbetween the tops of the teeth where it looks as though the gum inbetween each teeth has been chopped off. As I left the dentist he said the gum would drop down and was like that just because the four temporary crowns (all in one block) had pushed the gums up. After a week they havn’t dropped – will they? If they won’t what can I do? They look far worse than my old teeth!
