I have dentures and I cannot see my teeth when I smile. Why is this?

Q. 2 years ago, I got a top denture plate. I still have all my bottoms. My question is this, I cannot see my teeth when I talk. It looks like I have no top teeth. And, even when I smile, you can not see hardly any teeth…just the very bottom edge of the top teeth show when I smile. Why is this? My real teeth were not like this and they had a cast of my real teeth.,
A. That normally only happends with age, so if you haven’t had this problem prior the denture plate I would advise you to go back to your Dentist and hopefully they can resolve the problem for you.
