I have dental phobia but my teeth are falling out, please help!

Q. Hello, I’m unsure how to begin, but my teeth are not in good condition. Over the past years I’ve been suffering from depression due to bullying and stress, often because of my looks, down more to my teeth. In my youth I hated them, and did not care for them, and as such they have degraded, and now, simply, they are falling out. I have lost five so far, and recently one of my two front teeth broke and fell out. I’m 22, and am unsure what to do. I am not registered with an NHS dentist, and in all honesty due to visits as a teen I am terrified of dentists and having things put into my mouth. I know that if I do not do something soon, things are only going to get worse than they already are. I am reluctantly seeking out a local NHS dentist for an examination, already knowing that they will probably have a field day with me, but I’m wondering if you have any advice for me otherwise. I am at a loss, and any hep would be greatly appreciated.,
A. If your finances allow I would try to find a local dentist who has experience of cosmetic treatment for nervous patients perhaps offering sedation for the major procedures you probably need, otherwise find an NHS dentist recommended by a friend
