I have a slight underbite and protruding teeth, what should I do to correct it?

Q.
I am 35 years old, and believe it or not only just realised that fact I have a very slight underbite! No dentist has ever mentioned this to me before, which astounds me! To be honest I’ve never even noticed most people’s teeth are set differently! One front tooth in particular is really starting to protrude though. I was wondering what are the most cost effective actions to try and rectify this?
A.
Dear Enquirer,
It is difficult to say without seeing you, but a short term brace (12 weeks to 3 months ) is all that may be needed. You may also consider having a veneer placed on the tooth to bring it back in line. Costs will need to be clarified with a dentist of your choice as I cannot give you an answer without a full exmination.

Sunita
