i have a gap between my front teeth if i have veneers will i still have to have frenectomy procedure

Q. Hi and im looking to finally get my teeth done. I have a gap between my two front teeth and I hate it. My last dentist told me that before I get anything done that I may need a frenectomy. My question is, if i consider lumineers or veneers will I still have to have this procedure done? Also what would you consider to be the best option for me and my situation.

A. It depends on the size of the gap you can send me a photo so I can give you a better opinion.  Fraenectomies are simple procedures and are often need to improve the space closure.  You may find orthodontics is a better option.
