I have a fear phobia of visiting a dentist

Q. Hello, I have a fear phobia of visiting a dentist, but i desperately need help. My front bottom teeth have gradually become loose and two of them totally removed. However, I am so embarrassed to seek help, I constantly fix them in place using denture fixative. I cant eat in front of people, talk or smile due to being embarrased, and suffer constant discomfort and pain. I would love to get my self confidence back and am asking for your advice, if dentures or implants would be a possibility?

A. You have gum disease and this need to be cured before any other treatment is carried out. You can have a denture made to replace the missing teethbut implants won’t be possible until the gum disease is cured. The longer you wait the worse the prognosis will be. If you have the treatment carried out now you will be able to keep some of your teeth but if it is left to progress then you will loose all of your teeth.
Kind regards
