I had root canal done and i was not comfortable with caps will veneers or lumineers suit me

Q. Dear Sir, I had a root canal done on my front two teeth about 8 years back. The dentist had advised me to go for a dental caps however i was not too comfortable with caps hence did not go with it and let the teeth be. After so many years, the teeth have dulled and chipped a bit. I have heard about Lumineers and have heard they do not require grinding of the surface. I am really comfortable with the idea of veneers/lumineers rather than caps which require so much of grinding of teeth. Please advise whether lumineers would be suitable or i will have to opt for Caps. Thanks

A. Lumineers work well when the teeth don’t need to be trimmed for the right aeasthetic result. However if they are placed and the teeth look too bulky then it maybe best to go with normal veneers, even though some of the enamel will be lost in the process
