I had dental implant and now it pains on the adjacent teeth what will be done if the pain continues

Q. I had a dental implant placed after the space was made slightly bigger and given the go ahead. But, now it is affecting the adjacent teeth and i have been given 3 different types of antibiotics. will this be okay and heal or will the implant need to be removed? what will be done if the pain/throbbing from the adjacent teeth doesn’t go?

A. If the implant has only just been placed, there is a strong likelyhood that the symptoms will settle. If it has been several months then your dentist needs to investigate the treatment you have received in case an adjacent tooth has been damaged when the implant was placed.
