I had an operation to remove a cyst and because it has destroyed my mouth, I lack confidence, can you suggest treatment to correct this?

Q.
Hi, i wondered if anyone could help me. I am 37 and gone through alot with dentists. I had a cyst growing in my mouth and was left to grow for 18yrs or more, when a new dentist came along i was referred to the hospital but i had to have a big operation. I had crowns already and missing teeth from the old dentist and lost all my confidence i hate my teeth. But, i have now no bone left in the roof of my mouth and the case was lost because of causation. I havent alot of money and i dont know where to go but my mouth is such a mess, i dont go out much apart from work cos i have really lost all confidence. Do you know any work i can have done that will reconstrut my bone, fix up the 4 front crowns and fill in the gaps along the top where my teeth are missing and sort out the fillings and discolouration from the rest of the teeth…or am i always going to be like this? i have been told my teeth have a life expectation of 3 yrs since the op which took place in feb 09…am really worried.

Thank you for your enquiry.

As your case sounds very complex I would recommend that you have a full consultation with an prosthodontics specialist to discuss all of your dental needs. They will be able to tell you all your options.
