I’d like my teeth to look whiter, what do you advise?

Q. Hello, Since being a young age i have suffered with my teeth, for some reason they use to decay and discolour quickly. At the age of 8 i fell and broke my two front teeth of which i now have a cap and bridge. I could never understand what cause my teeth to be like this as i always had a good diet. A few years ago my teeth starting improving and i went to a new dentist, she told me i had some sort of disorder which caused my teeth to decay and discolour, do you know what this is called?. As you can imagine it was a relief to find out that it hadn’t been my fault, i am conscious of my teeth now and would love to have them whitened, i looked in to this but have recently been told that my cap and bridge can not be whiten. They are naturally a little whiter than my naturally teeth but i was just wondering if you thought it was possible for them to lift a little lighter. If not what would you advise.

A. You could have them whitened mbut just be prepared that the bridge may no longer match.
