I am unhappy with results following removal of four bicuspids
Q. Dear doctor, Warm wishes, I have been wearing my fixed ceramic braces for the past two years now. My orthodontist advised me to remove my four bicuspids. After a long thought of nearly about 6 months, i finally removed them. But now i feel my nose looks bigger and my teeth have gone in too much. and i have lost the wide smile that i used to have without removing the four bicuspids. The gaps have not closed yet. I am afraid, my nose would look even more bigger as the gaps close. Can i ask my orthodontist to push my teeth little forward and fix artificial four bicuspids to have a wide smile as before. A. I agree if you feel you would like a wider smile the only option would be to look at having those teeth put back in.

Dr., I do have an other query. Is it possible to bring back the same old look (before the extraction of four bicuspids) by not wearing retainers for sometime so that the teeth can push forward and i could create space for fixing the lost four bicuspids. My gaps have closed now. I had protrusion and since my teeth have gone in, i am missing my bumps that were earlier there and i have a very flat look and my nose appears to be big. Is there any possibility that i can get exactly the same look how i was looking before the extraction by letting the teeth out and making it little wider.
Please help dr. I am waiting to hear from you. My teeth are in a mess.

I had the same thing done to me where I hated my look after the 4 bi-cupsids were taken out. No orthodontist knew what I was talking about. Then someone mentioned Dr. William Hang, located in westlake village ca. He is amazing and the only doctor in the nation that can give you the appearance you want back. I fly every two months for my appointment across the country. He is amazing and is well worth the cost. He is pulling my teeth all the way forward where i would like them to be and broadening my smile so my nose doesn’t look big and i don’t have that dished in look. Hope that helps.
