I am not happy with my temp bridges can you advice?

Q. I got a fixed bridge about 10 months ago and my dentist told me it was a temp/perm bridge and it should last 1-2 years. I recently had to get it recemented, so while I was there I asked if they could fix one of the teeth on there as it had a gap from my gumline and I was getting food caught in it. The dental assistant or whatever her title is ended up making it look completely unnatural and it doesnt even feel right now. I expressed how unhappy I was with the situation and they now said that this bridge needs replaced with a permanent one and that the one I have now is pretty must expired. I have no idea how to handle the situation and I dont know why they did this to me. Is there such a thing as a temp/ perm or should they have given me a perm in the first place? Help!!!!

A. Temporary bridges are used if the gums or bite need to be assessed or heal.  You need to go and speak to your dentist and express your concerns. I am sure they will help you.
