i am bothered by the black triangle between my two front teeth what would you suggest?

Q. I have a problem with receding gums – mostly on my upper 8 front teeth. I have recently undergone root planing treatment for gum disease, which is now under control. My dentist said that due to the width of the recessions, gum grafting would not be an option to cover the areas. I have read about a removable gingival prosthesis, but am unable to find informtion on this. In particular, I am bothered by the black triagle between my two front teeth. Other than this gum problem, my teeth are very healthy. What would you suggest?

A.

Having the teeth crowned and some gum contouring COULD be a possibilty for you- but it’s hard to comment without seeing you in person. I would be more than happy to offer you a free consultation at my kissdental practice if you wish. Alternatively, I could recommend someone in you local area. hope this has been a little bit useful.
I’m glad that your gums are now stabilised, which is a good sign that further treatment can be done to improve your overall smile.

Hello, I have a “black triangle” between the maxillary central and lateral incisor. It’s only about 0.5mm wide. I have undergone orthodontics recently. What treatments can eliminate the black triangle? Thanks

after periodontal treatment i get 5 triangles in upper of my front teeth where the papilla does not appears, and I am going to do veneers but veneers can not cover these gaps, and if I do gum reshaping that meaning the root of teeth will be appear after contouring, it will be covered by veneer but practically and in my mind, there is no tissue cover roots, Please tell me how I can get a good smile, specially because I have florists teeth Problem, .

There is no reason why the black triangles cannot be closed by the veneers , just use an experienced dentist to do the work . However make sure your gum disease is not allowed to return.
