how much will it cost for a full mouth of new teeth with implants

Q. Is it possible to get implants. I have had dentures for 22 years and hate them. How much to get a full mouth of new teeth Uppers and Lowers.

A. Thank you for your question.

Implants are usually suitable for most people. The determing factors are how much and the quality of bone that you have. Contra indications to treatment are health problems such as diabetes or other immune suppressing conditions. Implants don’t have as much success rate in people that smoke and are usually not guarenteed in this situation.
A ct scan will probably be needed in your case to verify thickness of bone so that the implants are placed in the best areas. Full mouth implants cost in the region of £40,000 – £ 50,000.
Your mouth may be able to be restored with 4-6 implants in the top jaw and 4 -6 implants in the bottom jaw which will considerably reduce the cost of treatment, rather than having individual implants for each tooth. This treatment would still cost about £20,000. It is best to have a consultaion with an implant dentist to make sure that you have all of the treatment options before you make a decision.

Kind Regards

Having being without any teeth for over ten years, as i just could’nt wear a full set of false teeth. I have considered full set dental implants, but, being on benefit, there is no possible way i could afford anything remotely near the £20,000 average price.
Is it possible the NHS could provide this service ? ..i could possibly pay a few hundred pounds towards the treatment, i don’t see why not, especially when i read of people getting sex changes and the like on the NHS.

I have a question regarding the cost of a front implant with a crown. I have had the tooth removed and have a partial denture covering a side tooth aswell (not important right now). How much is the cost for a implant inclusvie of crowns, scans etc with the assumption that there isnt any bone grafting required?

Hi there I’m a 47 yr old male, with a decent diet and basically healthy. Iquit smoking about 18 months ago, and I drink once per week. I lost my four upper front teeth about 12 years ago, and since then my teeth generally have deteriorated, and been gradually lost or extracted. I now have four teeth left on my upper right, and one on the upper left, and I wear a removable metal-framed denture which is held in place by small clips. My problem isthat the single upper left tooth has had increasingly large fillings several times over the last few years, and it seems to be deteriorating, although the roots is intact, and not painful or disturbed in any way. But I am concnerned that if I lose that tooth, there will be no support on my upper left for the denture. I am worried that this might mean I will have to resortto adhesives, or far worse, a full palate upper denture. I want to come and discuss my options, ranging from implants, to saving my upper left toothand getting a new denture- also things liek tooth whitening and other cosmetic options to improve the appearance of my smile. I would be very gratefulfor you help/advice etc. Sincerely

The question is a quality of life issue. No question you would benefit from 2 implants. This is something you should do for yourself if it is fnancially feasable. The fee for 2 implants and a new lower denture is reasonable. I would recommend this treatment for anyone who has a lower denture. You will be very pleased with howthe outcome
