How much does it cost to have implants in Canada and what are the possible problems after the procedure
Q. Hi Dr. Rob Tennet I am from Macedonia but I live now in Canada. I am interesting for dental implants for all my teeth. I like to know will I have some problems after surgery, where is the best I to do that and how much will cost me? Honestly I like you to be my doctor but I know that is impossible because if I go in UK it going to cost me a lot to pay for hotel and for surgery.
A. Hi I think you are right to choose someone you can easily access during the treatment. I would also prefer you to be able to continue to see the same dentist for occasional maintenance in the years after the initial treatment. Some of the potential problems are related to the specfic site in the jaw, others are more general and related to surgery. Pain, swelling & bruising are all possible but usually manageable, infection in the early stages following implant placement of first loading.
