Q. I had implants fitted to my lower jaw in 2007 and I am very happy with them. I am now looking at having work done on the top jaw. I lost all of my teeth when i was a teenage (now considerably older) and have been advised that i need bone augmentation prior to the implant surgery. I have been quoted £5000 for the bone augmentation alone, using bone from my hip. This is in the Manchester area and includes aneasthetist, surgical and hospital fees. Does this sound about the going rate or should i shop around.
