How long does it take for the absess to disappear after the root canal treatment
Q. Following a root canal treatment, how long should it usually take for the absess i had above the tooth on the gums to finally dissapear as it has been a week and there is still a small bump but not too large. Thanks
A. Hi many thanks for your email, it does sometimes take a few weeks to clear a sinus from a root canal treated tooth. if it does not clear within a month i would seek advice from the treating dentist.
