How long do I need to wait until I can have an implant, after having a tooth extracted?
Q.
I have to have one of my front teeth extracted, I’ll have to wear a denture for three months whilst the gum heals and then I’m opting for an implant. I was just wondering if after the three months is over the implant can be put straight in and also what the temporary replacement is during the 6 month period?

A.
It really depends on the bone often we take a bad tooth out and place a implant and temporary tooth all in the same visit. If the bone is too weak or damaged then longer processes are required. I would need to see you to give you the best options.
