How is topical fluoride used in dentristry?
A.
topical just means applied to the surface.
1st type are toothpastes etc used regularly and at low concentration
2nd type are applied by dentists occasionaly and are more concentrated.
fluoride bind with the tooth mineral to make it more resistant to acids.
