How Does a Dentist Remove a Tooth?

Q.
Hello. I am terrified of the dentist and haven’t been for at least 20 years when I had a nerve removed, then the dentist packed it and I should have gone back the week after but I never did as there isn’t much tooth left. I’m scared of how they can grasp it to take it out. How will the dentist do this? It’s the same both sides of my mouth and I have problems eating and I never smile due to the gaps in my teeth.

Hello, thank you for your question. It sounds like you need to find a dentist who offers sedation for nervous patients. This would help you to complete the treatment that is urgently needed. After that, you could then try to visit more regularly to build up your confidence. Kind regards, Andrew.
