How can I improve the appearance of my front tooth?

Q. I had a root canal done on my front tooth (due to a previous trauma) about 2 years ago. The dentist applied composite material which she said at the time was temporary. Although since going back she advised that it is best to leave it in place. The composite is A1 but is still darker than my other teeth. Apparently this is the whitest available (or certainly on the NHS). Also the composite material makes the tooth stick out more than the others. What is the best advice in terms of onward treatment that my improve the appearance of this tooth?,
A. It is normal for the tooth to become darker after the nerve has been removed, although we do have have several shades and types of composite material on some occasions is it not enough and for the best cosmetic reusult you would be looking at having a ceramic veneer or crown. The prices start from £550.00. Should you wish to take advantage of our free consultion please contact us at [email protected] Thank you for you enquiry.
