hi i broken my 2nd rear molar on theleft it broke sort of diagonal to the gumline

Q. Hi i broken my 2nd rear molar on theleft it broke sort of diagonal to the gumline i also have a filling in that tooth. it does not hurt. i am terrified of the dentist and have got an appointmnt next week. could yo tell me what the dentist may do as i am scared they may want to pull it out. thanks

A. If the tooth isn’t hurting they should be able to place a filling/inlay or crown
