Hi I am due to have two lower front teeth extracted

Q. Hi. I am due to have 2 lower front teeth extracted next week due to both being chronically infected one with an abscess. It is hoped to have a candleabara implant to replace both of them. Does this sound a viable option? I am also very concerned about this present infection causing this implant to fail even after all infection has gone and the gums have healed. could this be a possibilty. Also my dentist says I unusually show a lot of my lower gum and this could cause problems with aesthetics of the implant. I’m losing sleep over this (writing this at 2:30 am!)and seeking the best advice. I live locally to birmingham and would love to arange a consultation, nevertheless any info would be greatfully appreciated.

A.

IT does sound like a prospective case for implants but the concerns you have are justified.
As you live locally I would be happy to see you for a free initial consultation. This should help reassure you about the principals of implant treatment . A detailed consultation with Xrays and Study Models costs £100 if you decide on a full work up to the point of treatment.
If you call 0121 451 4707 around 8.45 am I should be free prior to my clinic on Thursday or Friday morning. You can then provide a little more background.
