Does peroxide damage a porcelain bridge?

Q.
I have a year old 6 unit porcelain bridge in top front of mouth .I notice that it not as white about the bottom 1/8 of an inch. On the two front ones. Its almost like they are clear and you can see a difference when I put my tongue behind them. Is this normal in some bridges? The bridge that this replaced was not like that it lasted 23 years. I lighten the bottom teeth to keep them as white as my bridge Im wondering last time I got a bunch of peroxide on the back of this bridge is making my problem worse? I have read that bleaching has no effect on porcelain. I appreciate your time in answering me.

Thanks,

A.
Yes the peroxide will not damage the porcelain. It could be wearing out or maybe it was ‘translucent’ right from the start when it went in and you just have not noticed it. Best you go back to the dentist who made it for you and ask for his/her advice
