Do I need to remove my braces before a dental implant?

Q. I had my braces for 17 months now and need an implant. Will they be removing my braces before the implant

A. In general the orthodontic stage of the treatment will be completed and a night time retainer will be made prior to the commencement of implant treatment.

I have been sucking my thumb since i was a child. Predictably, my teeth have been affected, and i\’m wondering if you could give me any information about what treatment would be best to fix them? My bottom teeth are fine, however my top teeth have been pushed forward quite dramatically by my thumbsucking. They are further forward on the right side than on the left, thus, they look lobsided when i smile fully. Despite the fact that they are not level with my bottom teeth, they do not protrude from my mouth, and they are straight. I assume that a brace would be a good soulution, but obviously, i\’m not sure, so could you tell me what my options would be, and if this can, in fact, be fixed at all.

My son was punched in the mouth and his top front tooth was almost knocked out .That tooth had a root canel done and after 4 years he still has some low level pain with it. The color of this tooth has turned a dark yellow. He is 26 and we are about to get this taken care of ,he does need some Orthodontic work to correct some spaceing in his teeth.Should this be done before an implant and whitening of his teeth.3 different Dentists have given us 3 different opinions on the order of these procedures.

I am at my wits end with how horrified I am with my teeth, I had crowns 20years ago and I am now 52 and the bridge and crowns are no longer there. I AM ISOLATED I will not go to any social events and manage work with great anxiety. I can not bare the thought of someone seeing inside my mouth as I know they will also be horrified. I have even thought of ending it all because of my teeth. If I think of going to a dentist I feel ill this email is bringing me out in a sweat. How can I take a step towards Help. I need falseteeth but do not want anyone including my familyto know The reason i am emailing is I have just read about mini implants, what would this cost how canI have hope again.

Would it be safe to have the invisilign brace to move them back into position or would they loosen and would I use them? thankyou
