Could tooth removal cause nerve damage?
Q. I have an appointment to get a lone tooth extracted from my gum above my top front teeth. It showed up in an xray when I went to find out about braces. In order for me to get the braces my dentist told me i needed to get it removed. Is there a chance i will have nerve damage after this procedure? If so what will the effect be?
A. Hi many thanks for your email, on the position of the upper jaw the extraction should not cause nerve damage. hope this is helpful.
