Could one dental veneer improve my smile?

Q. Hello there. So, I was wondering about veneers. All I want is one, because my tooth is moved back a little bit on my top row and it really makes me self conscious about my smile. Unfortunately, my parents can’t afford braces. So I was wondering if that one veneer could improve my smile and make it look like my tooth isn’t actually back like it is. & how much do you think it would cost? Thanks for your time.,
A. Hi, Firstly, I need you to be aware that one veneer to be mached to the adjacent teeth takes alot of skill and expertise from the lab technician who makes the veneers. I would recommend that you see a good cosmetic dentist if this is the route that you decide to go dow- but the cost of a high standard veneer can range from £600-£1000 for one veneer. I just want to let you know that if it is only one tooth that concerns you, then you can opt for some clear aligners that will push the tooth into position. This will probably cost around the same and is a much more conservative approach.
