Concerns over jaw re-positioning

Q. Why do I have a weird profile? I wore braces on my lower set of teeth to correct overcrowding and had a central incisor removed to make room. The orthodontist didn’t put braces on top set even though the the tooth front teeth at the top were slightly bucked, they were pretty much perfectly straight. Now after having my braces removed I have pretty much got pefect teeth even though one has shifted back into it’s original position. My main concern is my profile from the side my chin smooths into my neck and I have a worse overbite my bottom and top set don’t line up when I look from the side the top teeth overlap the bottom ones

A. Unfortunately everybody has a different bite and orthodontics cannot always correct the jaw position. The only option would is to have surgery to reposition the jaw, this surgery is very complex and i would not recommend it.

Kind regards
