I Don’t Like The Shading Of New Veneer, Is There Any Way I Can Get It The Same Shade?

Hello, I’d like to present you with a problem I’ve been having, I had my front 10 of my teeth done with dental lumineers about 5 years ago. My fourth tooth has broke on two separate occasions, so my dentist decided on a 3/4 crown. I just got the permanent one today and it looks a lot lighter – I can definitely tell, and I don’t like it, it seems like it’s doesn’t look right to me, BUT it is the furthest back pre-molar, so it’s not super obvious. My dentist who is also my Brother-in-law says that it is the exact same shade as my other teeth and will darken over time? Is this correct? Is there something I can do to speed up the process and get it to go the same shade as my other teeth? I hope you can help.

Why Is It Called A Whitening System If The Results Aren’t Permanent?

Hi Dr,
I am from pakistan, i have 2 ques
1) which teeth whitening system would u like to recommend for yellowish teeth, my sister just gone through the whitening system but the Dr said the results will not be 100% as it varies from person to person and also not permanent then y is this whitening system if its not permanent?

2)after scaling little gaps created in between teeth how they can be recovered ?

Is Microabrasion Harmful To Teeth?

Hi I would just like to know the possible to solutions for white spots on the tooth ? I have heard of microabrasion but the from the reviews I have seen the results do not seem promising. Are veneers necessary ? Or are there other options Available ? I have a white spot on my front tooth and I wanted to know if in the london area it is treatable ? Also is microabrasion harmful to the teeth as I know it involves shaving a layer of enamel? Are teeth a lot more sensitive as a result ? I want to have my teeth whitened but frightened that these white spots will become more apparent if I do this. Can you please advise? thank you, I hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards.

My Teeth Are Turning Transparent, What Can I Do About This?

Dear Dr Andrew
I desperately need your advice, just recently I have noticed all my teeth are becoming transparent at the ends. I’m 42yrs old and I have had really nice lovely white teeth all my life and now I’m faced with this. I don’t know why this has happened! It’s really scaring me, I am so scared that I will loose my teeth or the color will not return. I guess my diet has affected my teeth, I drink coffee which I never used to and I have recently started a Jason Vale juicing programme. Could this be causing the problem do you think? I also drink red wine and eat a lot of homemade curries. Can you please advise on what I can do to restore my teeth to their natural color? Thank you so much in advance, I just want to get this sorted before they get any worse. Kind regards.

How Many Visits To The Dentst Does Teeth Whitening Require?

Hello doctor I just want to ask you if you could possibly make my teeth white from yellow and how many visits will it require? I noticed that if I brush them like 1 to 2 months 2 times a day they become white but not bright white. I smoke a lot and I just can’t cut it and I don’t really have time to brush them or getting bored to wait for the results. I work a lot so I don’t want to have to take lots of time off work in order to have this treatment done. I don’t even know how to go about getting the treatment, I’m new to the cosmetic side of things. I just feel that it is the best option for me as I won’t have to worry about the appearance of my smile for a while then. I also want to know how much will it cost for making them white from yellow. Hi, Is it possible to have a really white teeth regardless of how discolored the teeth are? I tried the teeth whitening and I wasn’t satisfied with the result, it was a total waste of time and money, My teeth still look the same and its really embarrassing. If it’s possible, what procedure would one undergo and the cost? Also, what would be the best treatment for me to have a straight teeth line, I am 33 at the moment , Is a perfect white and straight teeth line still possible? Should I Get My Teeth Whitened Before My Bonding Work?

Hello Dr, my question is one of a purely cosmetic nature, so not particularly urgent. Basically, three of my front teeth are chipped (1 on top and 2 on the bottom (tiny ridges).  I am going in for cosmetic bonding but before I go in for bonding, they suggested I get my teeth zoomed. Should I get them zoomed or should I get the strips? My teeth are not really dull in color but it will just give me a brighter smile with the new bonded teeth. My teeth are not very sensitive and I can’t afford veneers. Just wondering what you would say is the best option for me now because I don’t particularly want to be paying more money than I need to.

hello doctor, i have this question. i’m a patient of LUPUS (SLE). have had it now for 5 years. n i have noticed a change in color in my teeth. i want to get a permanent teeth whitening procedure but m not sure about the risks or which one should i go for ? i have been through teeth scaling and polishing which worked fine for me at the time but didnt really help in the overall color whitening . can u pls guide me about which procedure shud i go through and if i shud do it at all or not? the process i went through was good enough for particular stains on my teeth but i need a total color whitener tht wi ll help to whiten the teeth and not only remove stains. i read through the internet about bleaching and laser .dont know which one wud be best suitable for me .help.thanks

How Can I Whiten My Naturally Yellow Teeth?

Hello i have yellow teeth and i have had it all my life as i can remember. I think thats my natural teeth colour. I was wondering if you would kindly direct me towards the best option for whitening my teeth. Because of this problem i hardly ever smile with my teeth. My sister’s teeth are not white either but when compared with mine they look really white. Please is there anything i can do to whiten them other than bleaching? Can you recommend anything that would be very effective? Also I would add that I use arm and hammer advanced whitening, do you think that would at all be useful for my teeth? Thank you in advance.

My Whitening Treatments Aren’t Working, What Should I Do?

Hello Dr, my problem is one of a cosmetic nature. I have recently done both in house and in office teeth whitening but there is no noticeable result
After a consultation with the dentist, I was given a pack of evolution3 home kit of 10 and 16% carbide peroxide which I used at home for two weeks with a custom made tray sent to me by the dentist. At the end of the second week, I went to the clinic for the in office whitening. In the office, an application of another higher % of gel was administered with my customer tray for about 30 minutes and that was it. I noticed that my teeth were still the same colour. This has frustrated me somewhat to be perfectly honest as there is still no noticeable result.
