i had a dental plated fitted on my teeth and now i cant chew properly how can i help with this?

Hi, I am 13 years old and today i had a dental plate fitted on 4 of my teeth. Soon i am getting braces. I am having a lot of problems eating and my orthodontist told me to keep it in all the time and eat with it. I can’t do this as i cant chew because my teeth wont reach to chew. All i can eat is soup at the moment :9 what can i do… Also at school some kids take the mick out of my plate and how i speak… how can i help with this???

i was given a denture but i have a dreadful problem with wretching what are my options?

I had a front tooth removed 2 weeks ago and was given a denture plate but i have had dreadful problems with wretching. I don’t feel sick and can keep the plate in from 8.00 – 4.00 but after this i immediately begin to ‘Gag’. My NHS dentist says i can’t have a bridge because one of the supporting teeth is not strong enough. I cannot live my professional life like this. The doctor has prescribed ciclizine, but i can’t see that this will work. In fact neither can she. What are my options? I am willing to go privately.

Hi. I have crooked yellow teeth that are cracking and falling out and every tooth is decayed. I’m 32 years old and never had an attractive smile, and its terribly embarrassing. Id like to know if you feel dentures would be an option for me as implants are too expensive. Thank you.

i have weak gum i am fed up with my crooked teeth what are my options to fix front teeth

I Have according to my dentist weak gums due to my mum have similar problems. I now find that with very large teeth in my small mouth i am fed up with my crooked front teeth. what are my options to fix front teeth. I have one area of gum which is receeding badly and showing the root of the tooth. All in all very bad for a good smile.

i have gum disease and what to know what are my future options could i get dentures in NHS

Hi Dr could you please tell me what options I would have as to replacement teeth if I had to have several removed due to gum disease. Would the dentist be able to fit temporary false teeth to hide obvious spaces while the gums heal? I am at present having the gum disease treated and want to know what my future options are? I am 42 could I get dentures on the nhs?

Hi, I recently had an accident in which half of my front tooth snapped off, and the other half is fractured, meaning it has to be removed. I am having an extraction on thursday, and not really sure what happens after this. what is the best way forward? I lost my 2 front teeth when I was 9 and I have worn dentures ever since, I am now 32. The space where my 2 front teeth were has got smalled and my lower teeth have grown up so that I have a difficult bite with the dentures and they often snap. My dentist suggested a Maryland bridge, but I concerned that this is too templorary. He said implants wouldn’t be on as the gao is too small. The other alternative seems to be new dentures with the lower teeth being filled down to make the bite easier. What would you suggest?

when i bite my dentures go straight over my bottom teeth and i find difficult to eat is it correct

my upper dentures look horrible why cant my dentist just make them like my old teeth
