Im going for extraction of a tooth what treatment will be suggested?

Hi, I have asked my dentist to remove a tooth that is higher up in my gum, he has suggested once removed to have a cosmetic tooth put in its place and I asked then to have veneers but he suggested I have four to six of the front upper teeth crowned, will this make my teeth straight like a hollywood smile!!

Hi i have a gap between my 2 front teeth, this is the problem i would love to change. however i am worried the condition of my teeth may be a problem, i am currently trying to improve this but i seem to suffer with alot of decay on my back teeth and have had to have teeth removed filled and crowned this does not bother me but would like to have the front teeth done. is it still possible to have those teeth only, will it damage my teeth or are they strong enough and how much could this cost. many thnks

Which braces have better results over long term fixed or invisalign?

Hi, i am 25 and i have been advised by my orthodontist that i require a brace for my lower teeth to close up a couple of gaps i have(about 3mm gaps). i have been given the option of a fixed brace or the invislign brace. which would provide me with faster, better results over longterm. what kind of cost should i be expecting for each? I had braces years back but my overbite came back advice?

Hi There, I had braces when I was a young teenager to close the gap between my two front teeth and get rid of my overbite. The gap has gone but my overbite came back (due to not wearing my retainer when I was younger). I would now like to get this corrected, but don’t particularly want to get one of the regular train track braces, and cannot afford to pay thousands of pounds for the other treatments. Are there any alternatives?

Hello, On the left side of my two front teeth i ahve a twisted tooth. I don’t want to have braces and turned the oppurtunity down because i didn’t want the pain and hassle for one tooth. I’m asking is there any way to have this cosmetically done, i.e. veneers, crowns, false teeth, etc. Please let me know; i haven’t had a cosmetics professionals opinion. Hiya, i had an operation on my gum a few years back which left me with a gap at the front of my mouth, this happened due to a mistake made during the operation? since this happened i have been very subconscious about my teeth as they are in quite a bad state. I have bulimia for 15yrs will i have to crown my teeth?

Dear Dr Caplan i have been suffering from Bulimia for over 15 years and hence my teeth will need to be crowned (upper row). the bulimia is inactive but occasionally i regress to the same crutch, ie purging. my teeth are so sensitive that i have no choice but to crown them, do you think its advisable or are there any other options? thank you so much for your input.

Hi DR.Chaplan, I had veneers done on my teeth over 15 years ago, now the black is showing around the gum line. I am missing both side teeth.
