I had braces years back but my overbite came back advice?

Q. Hi There, I had braces when I was a young teenager to close the gap between my two front teeth and get rid of my overbite. The gap has gone but my overbite came back (due to not wearing my retainer when I was younger). I would now like to get this corrected, but don’t particularly want to get one of the regular train track braces, and cannot afford to pay thousands of pounds for the other treatments. Are there any alternatives?

A. The coices you have are moe convential metal braces or clear braces such as invisalign.  As as adult the cost of this treatment will be in the region of £3K to £4K.

i had a fixed brace at the age of 11 and then again at about 15. both times my teeth went back to the way they were even though i wore the retainer like asked. i was recently told by my dentist that this may have been due to them not removing enough teeth to make space. i’m now 24 years old and i hate my smile. i have searched around and saw that i can get braces on the nhs for £198. is this correct, and how do i find out more infomation? i dont want to pay thousands as it wasnt my fault enough teeth were not removed.
