Cap is not fitting under the gum properly
Q. Hi there, I have had 2 dental caps done about 2 weeks ago. However, I had them done in South Africa and currently live in New Zealand. One cap feels as though it is not under the gum properly. Can u please advise me as to what my next step should be? Dentists in New Zealand are very expensive and Iam very paranoid thinking that I will need to redo that cap. Thank You so much for ur help.

the simplest thing to do first is have a small x ray which will confirm the crowns fit properly, if they do not you will likely need a new crown, if you ignore this you could end up losing the tooth even though it is not a major problem now
