Can you tell me why my enamel looks grey in colour?

Q. Hi Julian, I am 42 years old and for the past 5 years my two top front teeth have turned a grey colour, mainly from the gum area down. Could you tell me what could have possibly caused grey enamel as I’ve often wondered if it is caused by a deficiency in my diet. I used to have lovely white teeth in the past. Could you also give me any advice on what treatment I would need to put this right. Kind Regards Denise,
A. Sometimes medication that contains minocycline can darken your teeth. However it is probable just a natural aging process. Bleaching may solve your problem
